Change or cancel your plan

All BoostPop plan changes are handled through Shopify’s billing system. BoostPop itself does not store your payment details — Shopify manages the subscription and charges it to the payment method already on file with your store.
There are two plans available: Free (limited impressions, no charge) and Pay-As-You-Go (usage-based, starts with a 90-day free trial). All other billing actions — upgrading, downgrading, or adjusting your spending cap — route through a Shopify approval screen.
What you can change
Upgrade to Pay-As-You-Go. Unlocks unlimited impressions beyond the free tier, billed per 1,000 after your monthly free allowance. Shopify will prompt you to approve the initial spending cap.
Adjust your spending cap. On Pay-As-You-Go, you can raise or lower the maximum BoostPop can charge in a billing cycle. Open the cap adjustment in the dashboard, enter the new amount, and Shopify will prompt for approval. The cap floor is $10 and the ceiling is $1,000.
Cancel (return to Free). Selecting the Free plan cancels the Pay-As-You-Go subscription immediately. Your widgets will be limited to the Free plan’s impression allowance starting with the next cycle. No further usage charges are applied.

Frequently asked questions
- Will I be charged for the rest of the month if I cancel mid-cycle?
- No. BoostPop uses Shopify managed billing with no proration on cancellation. If you switch back to the Free plan, your current billing cycle ends and no further usage charges accrue. Any charges already recorded for the current cycle remain.
- Can I switch back to Pay-As-You-Go after cancelling?
- Yes, but the 90-day trial is a one-time benefit. If you previously received a trial and cancel, returning to Pay-As-You-Go starts billing immediately at standard rates.
