Connect Klaviyo or Omnisend

BoostPop can send every email address it collects to Klaviyo or Omnisend. Both connect the same way: you create a private API key in the email platform, then paste it into BoostPop once. After that, each widget chooses where its subscribers go.

Klaviyo

1. In Klaviyo, open the account menu and go to Settings, then API keys.
2. Click Create Private API Key and name it BoostPop.
3. Give the key full access to Lists and Profiles. BoostPop reads your lists, creates or updates the subscriber’s profile, and adds it to the list you pick, so it needs nothing else.
4. Create the key and copy it.
5. In your Shopify admin, open BoostPop, then Settings, then Integrations, and paste the key into Klaviyo Private API Key. BoostPop checks the key right away by reading your lists, and the status next to the field shows whether it worked.

Omnisend

1. In Omnisend, go to Store settings, then API keys.
2. Click Create API key and name it BoostPop.
3. Limit the key to adding contacts. BoostPop only creates new contacts, so it needs no other access.
4. Save the key and copy it.
5. In your Shopify admin, open BoostPop, then Settings, then Integrations, and paste the key into Omnisend Private API Key.

Send a widget’s subscribers to your email platform

Open the popup or bar in the widget editor and go to Email Providers. Under Providers, select Klaviyo or Omnisend. For Klaviyo, choose the List new subscribers join. For Omnisend, you can add Tags to each new contact. Publish the widget, and new signups start syncing.

If the status next to your key shows an error, the key was deleted, revoked, or created without the access above. Create a new key with that access and paste it in again.
